I thought I would make this blog for stuff that doesnt fit in The Couch Casbah
or on Gyronet. This blog is less of a ranting site, but more of a place where I can just frolic.
Thanks to everybody for the birthday wishes, I had a really fun Birthday. In particular the afternoon, having a really fun lunch with Caity. Mmmm, I forgot how much I liked Duck. It rivals my love for lasagne, almost. Not only that but Caity and her family gave me some presents! I gots a money clip (really useful for bitch slapping people with cash), a picture frame with a nice picture of us and lots and lots of Lindt chocolates! MMMM
The box of Lindt chocolate was huge I thought. At the time, I thought I could never finish it all by myself. hehe, turns out I finished it within an hour. MMMMMMMM.
On my Birthday even my boss ws taking it easy on me. Even though we were two assistants short. The high pressure environment was non-existent as it looked like my boss was on the birthday drug. Maybe it's workers rights for special treatment during birthdays, I dunno.
The irony of double-standards played upon by demographics. Does it matter what demographic we are in? Situations explained, detailed in full and then followed up on. Then given sympathy by the chosen ones, analysed then they administer the 'cure'. These people are most valued and treasured but little do they realise that the feeling may not be genuine.
People who have differing opinions, the other demographic, their opinions are ignored, cast aside. Left in the dark, does it matter? Who cares. Only the special kind can have that access. Is it true for the reciprocal?
Feel important, feel really important. Tell the world. Make it feel like you have the upper hand when you really don't. Deception is the game, but who really knows how to play it. A case of deja vu with people I've met before.
Seeking for the source of your being. Ulterior motives perhaps. Who cares, you dont care but I do. I just don't do anything about it, because it's what I do to make things happen. Some say fate, others God. For me the Tao.
Those that are treasured deserve it. There's many more, they are just untapped resources lying in wait. It's not in the right demographic, but it is what makes them. Give them the time of day, you will be surprised by what they can do. Don't, and the world will crumble before you, the backbone is hidden.
You know whats cool about rain? The fact its feels nice and cold, that and the fact it keeps all the pollen down. If spring is going to be this wet from now on I say huzzah to that. This kind of climate change I can dig. It's the first spring where my hayfever hasn't gone out the window. I actually feel OK. Freaking sweet.
My house is built on a steep slop, so it is virtually impossible to flood. It's really trippy watching the rain go down the slope. The wind pushes it along so it gives off this cool ripple effect. Those who have seen it will get my drift. Also, I like seeing objects float on water, like leaves, petals and dog shit. It's all good.
When I was coming home tonight I noticed there was several lightning strikes, but I couldn't hear any thunder. It wasn't until I was passing through Tea Tree Gully when rain started to pour down and I could hear loud claps of thunder every three seconds, literally. Tonight I bore witness to a really flashy and loud thunderstorm. Is God Angry? Or maybe the Rain Goddess is having a good day.
Today was a good day.
I guess if there is one negative to come from today (although its not really a negative because it has a happy ending, but I just want to share an anecdote) it would have to be when I arrived home. Slightly hungery, I decided to have some assorted edibles and beverage. After pouring some beverage I decided to heat up some old pizza left in the fridge. I slide 2 slices onto a plate and place it in the microwave...wait this story gets intresting.
THEN BAM!
NO MORE POWER! I was shell shocked. MY pizza....it's still cold and all alone. I was very very angry! I decided to call the ETSA power outages hotline, where a automated message told me that "due to the large amount of outages in your area, repairs have been delayed. Recovery is estimated to take effect in....an unkown time"
Right about then I was really sad....my pizza will have to wait. Generally I could eat cold pizza, only if it is out of the fridge. But this was COLD pizza. MY snack would have to wait...tomorrow :(
But while sipping on my beverage and chatting on MSN on my mobile..PRESTO! The lights came back on...whcih only meant one thing. It's pizza time. God bless those ETSA boys for their quick response to what could've been an international incident.
But enough about the pizza.
Tonight was very good. We THRASHED the other team 17 to 4. Man, that team was absolute shithouse. I have never seen a crappier team in my life. In fact we kicked ass so much Liz Ellis came to congratulate us. I said to her "Thankyou, now fetch me some tea." and she said "Yes, sir." and I was cool with it.
Then I had dinner with a beautiful princess (with mesmerizing shoes). We had magical mushrooms and drank cranberry juice. Delicious. Then we went dancing in the rain and scaring old people at nursing homes. But then I had to drop princess at her castle. BUT HAVE NO FEAR. I will see the princess again!
Thats about wraps it up for today...good luck to anyone preparing for their exam(s).
